Sometimes we get caught up with all this popular new hip-hop. It comes complete with music videos, background stories (most false or exaggerated) and ringtones. If you let it, it will sneak up on you and constrict you, slowly squeezing the life out of you. I say this because I have an embarassing confession: I've been singing along with "You're A Jerk" and enjoying it.
I love new music, and I need to have playlists that are constantly changing. New music is an important part of my life, but I don't want to lose track of some of my old, lesser known favorites. Time to get back in touch with some underground classics.
