He is. Very talented guy, excellent guitar player. But don't forget that teenage girls love his music for a reason. Sometimes when I listen to a John Mayer song I feel like he's hitting on me.

John Mayer, one of the last true musicians of today. Feels and loves his music. Hate it or love it, gotta have respect for his passion. This song is alright though.
The guitar at the start sounds just like "Stop this Train."

I love John Mayers stuff. used to like it back in the day..i went on some kind of mayer holiday..then I discovered him again with free fallin (which is a cover he did). The live version of that song gives me chills.
But with this new song..sure it sounds good, but that stoned thing just came out of no where...Who knows what he is going to sing about next..pimps and hoes? lol

I love John Mayers music and believe it to be some of the best out there. Everything from the musicality of it right down to the lyrics is fantastic and imaginative, and colorful. I love his new song, and anyone who goes out and smokes a bowl because they heard John Mayer sing about it should be slapped in the mouth. In a nut shell, its good music.
