Jay Rock ft. 19 Other Rappers - "All My Life" (Remix)

Video! 18 Year Old Japanese Beatboxer

What the FUCK is this kid doing at the 1:32 mark?

My name is Daichi, I am 18 years old Japanese. You might have seen me on other video like this one. This time I did my best to win the Beatbox Battle wildcard. I hope you enjoy!

Dangerhorse (Danger Mouse + Sparklehorse) ft. James Mercer - "Insane Lullaby"

This album has quickly become something of a legend. It's one of the most anticipated albums of 2009 ever since the rumors of its creation ever started swirling years ago: Dark Night of the Soul, a collaboration between the producer Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz, The Black Keys, Dangerdoom) and psych-rock act Sparklehorse (Mark Linkous).

For whatever reason (legal bullshit) this great collection of songs featuring Julian Casablancas, Frank Black, James Mercer, Wayne Coyne and Iggy Pop to name a few, has been scrapped or delayed indefinitely by EMI. I still don't know the complete details, so I'm hesitant to post much, but the album is beautiful and I want to share at least one song.

This album is both instantly lovable and mindfuckingly trippy. That's a combination of adjectives that can only be used for unicorns, friendly dragons, and this album. Fuck with it. You can stream the entire album at NPR.

DMX Released From Jail, Rearrested Before Leaving Grounds

37 year old rapper Earl Simmons, better known by his street/stage name DMX, was released from jail in Arizona yesterday after serving over 90 days for... well he's done a lot of shit.

In a strange turn of events, X became one of the elite few men to ever be rearrested before actually getting off the jail grounds. DMX is again awaiting trial stemming from the incident, which occurred somewhere between his cell and the front door of the jail. Charges include assault, fraud, indecent exposure, animal cruelty, money laundering, kidnapping, drug trafficking and disturbing the peace. Further details to be released soon.

Jokes. But seriously, how long before X is in some more trouble?

Free Live EP from Coldplay - "LeftRightLeftRightLeft"

Coldplay is giving away a free live album titled *LeftRightLeftRightLeft*. THIS is the link to download your free digital copy, but unfortunately the link is currently acting up. Just keep trying, hopefully someone will bring it to their attention.

Anywho, today they begin their Viva La Vida Tour, starting in West Palm Beach & they will be giving out physical copies of *LeftRightLeftRightLeft* to the audience at every show. The digital download will be available until the tour is over with.

Here's a joint off of their previous album, *X & Y* called "Fix You". BUT, it's the live version which is featured on *LRLRL*. Hopefully someone fixes the link in time!

Kanye West vs. Radiohead - Nude Lockdown (Deezy G Remix)

Decided to have a little fun on Twitter. I've been slacking off on listening to everything I get in my inbox (I still try to, but if it looks like spam, I skip it). I twittered "First person to email me a track, I'll post it, no matter what." Deezy G hit me up first with this remix, which features "Love Lockdown" mixed with Radiohead's "Nude" for a really mellow switch. I give Deezy G credit for the concept, but it sounds off to me. The creativity behind this is there, but the execution didn't work for me. What do you think?

Note: Deezy G is open to suggestions. If anyone has any ideas on how to improve it, leave it in the comments and he'll go back to the lab. If you think it's good the way it is, let him know.

Video! Camping Out for the Air Yeezy

Last week hundreds of teens across the nation waited out in the rain for a pair of Nike's limited Kanye West designed Air Yeezy Sneakers. This is the video-graphy of a few groups of teens in different locations who waited for nearly four days in the cold and rain for a pair of the exclusive kicks. Video was filmed by M3 and A Rod Grime and Directed by ODS Media. There are also rumors Kanye will be having a thank you party in NYC for buyers of the shoes from the looks of this video these fans definitely deserve it.

Thanks for the Yeezys!

What do you think of the Air Yeezy? Would you wait outside for 4 days for a pair?

Video! Drake Homecoming Show (FULL)

Wednesday, Drake had his Homecoming So Far Gone Tour show in Toronto. This show went down at The Sound Academy & 2300 people showed up, each paying $40 a pop. As some of you saw, the experience was epic. My boy Brian from CreAction Media Group and I decided to cover the show for ATF and the rest of the blogs knowing that the Toronto show would uniquely be different than the rest of the cities. I promise you won’t want to take your eye off this video. Even after his set was done, the crowd chanted his name for about 3 minutes until he came out again to perform a batch of random songs. Alright, enough talking; here’s another video brought to you by ATF. Via All Things Fresh

Video! Weezer - "Kids" (MGMT Cover) + "Poker Face" (Lady Gaga Cover)

Last night Weezer covered MGMT's "Kids", and a little bit of "Poker Face". It's one of those things that is very surprising, but also makes perfect sense.

UPDATE:

New! Kanye West - Amazing ft. Tony Williams and Young Jeezy (Remix)

The remix of the official anthem of the N.B.A. playoffs was a combined effort of producer Haskel Jackson (for Genesoul Prod.) and former Janet Jackson and Lionel Richie bassist turned producer, Derek “D.O.A.” Allen. Tony Williams came in and added another dimension to an already “Amazing” situation. “It was really fun ‘rockin” this joint out. This is straight up my style… we were definitely trying to put our stamp on it,” says Tony. Via Meka.

(Video) The Decemberists - "The Wanting Comes In Waves/Repaid" On Leno

I agree with Prefix that it doesn't make much sense to single out one song of a rock opera and perform it on Leno, but I guess that's the biz. What are thoughts on Hazards of Love now that it's been out for a while? Has it grown on anybody? Has anybody forgotten about it already? I still listen to Her Majesty more than all other Decemberists material put together.

Kanye West - *The Lost Songs* (Compilation)

Should be good now.

New! Madonna Ft. Lil' Wayne - "Revolver"

Con posted a snippet of this not too long ago. If I'm not mistaken, the snippet was of Wayne's verse & it was titled "Triggerman".

Well here's the full song & it's actually called "Revolver". I've actually played this song about a thousand times back to back. I'm in a cool mood right now & this has the right bounce to it. Don't know who that is on the chorus, but he's on point too!

Has a few tags on it, but nothing crazy.

Madonna Feat. Lil' Wayne - "Revolver" (mp3)

**Just found out that this isn't Madonna on the song. This song is a vocal demo (reference) for Madonna. The singer on it is still unknown.

New! Eminem - "Careful What You Wish For"

I really didn't want to post any tracks from *Relapse* cause it damn sure seems like the entire album has leaked onto the net slowly but surely. But I'm really digging this one. Supposedly it's one of the bonus joints on the LP, but who knows. It's dope!

The more serious Em I like to hear. Talking about some real situations. I read the article on him in the Vibe magazine yesterday. He was HEAVY on popping pills; vicodin, valium & even methadone. Now he understands his mother much better, but none the less, he's probably still talking sh!t about her on the LP. It's Em!

Eminem - "Careful What You Wish For" (mp3)

Why not? Here's the other bonus joint that came along with it.

Eminem - "My Darling" (mp3)

Video! The-Dream - "Hater"

Confusion posted this track not too long ago. Well here's a simple yet dope visual to it. Meant to post this a while ago. Definatly kept me glued for the entire video.

New! Wyclef Jean Ft. Timbaland - "More Bottles"

Fresh a$$ beat (produced by Timbaland). This is dope! Got a real nice bounce to it. Don't let the title fool you, Clef is speaking some real sh!t on here!!

Wyclef Jean Feat. Timbaland - "More Bottles" (mp3)

Video Game! Eminem - "Relapse"

Eminem is releasing a game exclusively for the iTouch/iPod named after his album called *Relapse*. It will be available via the iTunes store on May 19th.

Video! Manchester Orchestra - "100 Dollars"

Here's the 6th video out of the 11 that the Manchester Orchestra will be doing called "100 Dollars". To check out the 4th one click here.

New! Cage The Elephant - "Tiny Little Robots"

Cage The Elephant releases the 2nd single off of their latest self-titled album called "Tiny Little Robots".

Cage The Elephant - "Tiny Little Robots" (mp3)

You can purchase their self-titled album *Cage The Elephant* Here!

New! Kid Sister - I'll House You

Here's a new one from Kid Sister for some Reebok Classic promo thing that's going on. It's a cover of the Jungle Brothers track with some serious updates to make it cool for '09 (or '10). Produced by Treasure Fingers, this beat is as crisp as a head of lettuce. Kid Sister's delivery is over simplified with an emphasis on attitude, not content. This could be seen as a flaw to some and an appeal to others, but come on, what do you expect from a rapper named Kid Sister? Saw it at The Culture of Me.

Kid Sister - I'll House You

Bat For Lashes - "Wilderness" (Two Suns Bonus Track)

Here is a bonus track from Bat For Lashes' beautiful new album Two Suns (Out now. Go buy it.)

Bat For Lashes - Wilderness

New! Modest Mouse - Satellite Skin

You may have heard this song when Modest Mouse played it on Letterman. Now they put the studio version up on their MySpace, and thanks to Willis, we have an mp3. Keep in mind, it's a MySpace rip, so the sound quality leaves something to be desired, but the song does not. This is from No One’s First and You’re Next EP which is comprised of unreleased tracks and b-sides from their past 2 albums. Out in August.

Modest Mouse - Satellite Skin

Dan Black - "Symphonies" (Passion Pit Remix)

Hell yeah! Really digging this one. I still hadn't heard the Dan Black song "Symphonies" until that video I posted a couple days ago, but somehow Passion Pit has already remixed it. It's awesome to hear Dan's laid back vocals sliding over Passion Pit's hyperactive production.

Oh, and I added Dan Black to that Passion Pit graphic myself using Paint, so if motherfuckers steal it, I want some credit!

Dan Black - Symphonies (Passion Pit Remix)

Video! 9 Year Old Guitar Prodigy Plays Ozzy Osbourne on Ellen, Then Meets Ozzy Osbourne

9 year old guitar prodigy Yuto Miyazawa plays Ozzy's "Crazy Train" on Ellen and then she surprises him by bringing Ozzy out after the performance. It's pretty cool that this little kid can shred, and pretty entertaining to hear him mimic the sounds of the words. Even though he speaks practically no English, he's still more understandable than Ozzy Osbourne.

Drake - Take You Down

Drake on some R&B shit here. Wasn't gonna post this, but there has been a lot of talk about this song for a couple of reasons.

First of all, people noticed that Drake was spitting some gang words, specifically the Blood call "soo woo" at the beginning. This had people talking about Drake being fake and putting on an act, etc.

After these accusations, Drake admitted that this was a reference track for Lil Wayne, and was meant to be on the Dedication 3 tape, but didn't make the cut.

So what do you think? This has happened a couple of times now. Are Wayne and Drake just sharing? Do they work as a team? Or is Wayne only supporting Drake because Drake is writing for Wayne?

Drake - Take You Down

Decided to tack this video on the end. Here is Drake performing his homecoming show in Toronto. Word is he absolutely killed it. Even through a slightly blurry Youtube video, you can feel the love he's getting.

New! Josh Reichmann Oracle Band - "Daniel" (Cover)

Josh Reichmann Oracle Band decided to celebrate the release of his debut LP, *Crazy Power*, by covering Bat For Lashes' hit song "Daniel" & making it available for free download. This cut is a male response to the original.

“I’m aiming with these covers (Deerhunter, Bat For Lashes and Bill Callahan upcoming) to showcase the songwriting that I think is strongest by these artists and refrence there production but put my spin on them- which is to bring a raw strange life to there voices and recontextualize or open up the lyrical themes to new dementions. I only cover things that feel soulfull or timless, something I strive for in my music.”
-Josh Reichmann

New! 810 - "U Won't Like This"

Here's a fresh cut from 810 called "U Won't Like This", produced by Mydus. This beat is certainly rediculous!! Has a real early 90's feel. Anyone know the sample? But, 810 damn sure came correct on this! This track is off of his upcoming project called *Glass Half Full* which will be dropping late July/early August. For those unfamiliar with 810, click here.

810 - "U Won't Like This" (mp3)

New! Wolf & Cub - "Seven Sevens"

Wolf & Cub release their new single called "Seven Sevens". This cut is off of their upcoming album which will be dropping this summer called *Science & Sorcery*. Definately stay on the lookout for that.

Wolf & Cub - "Seven Sevens" (mp3)

Video! Tony Yayo - "They Hate"

Tony Yayo - They Hate from Radio Planet on Vimeo.

In this QuickVid, Tony Yayo addresses the hate from fans on some of your favorite blogs.

Spotted @ NR! Didn't know what I was getting into once I clicked play, but I actually like this joint from Yayo. Instead of crying and talking tough about ppl leaving comments, he was real cool about it. Grown man style, & this beat is real smooth! When he tried to sing or wtv that was = horrible tho!

Tony Yayo - "They Hate" (mp3)

& it's off of his mixtape dropping next week called *The Swine Flu*

New! Eric Benet Ft. Nicki Minaj - "Chocolate Legs" (Remix)

Yea, it's Eric's song, but I'd rather look at Nicki. Anyway, I'm really digging this song, even without her on it. But with her verse on it, even doper cut!!

Eric Benet Ft. Nicki Minaj - "Chocolate Legs" [Remix] (mp3)

New! T.I. Ft. Mary J. Blige - "Don't Forget" [Tags]

Lmao @ myself! I just posted this in my blog thinking it was P&P, then came here I was lost!
Courtesy of NMC, spotted at 2db'z. I personally don't like Mary on this song. Beats ok, T.I. didn't disappoint me tho!

Video! Cell Phone In The Microwave

I know sometimes I post random videos, and I know that sometimes they are anticlimactic, but this is some crazy shit. Just watch. Thanks to Brandon.

Gold Teeth - "Everybody"

Gold Teeth comes out of the UK. This song has a breezy, almost island music vibe to it. I say "almost" because of the distorted guitars and British accents. With a name like Gold Teeth, how could you lose? Saw it at I Guess I'm Floating.

Gold Teeth - Everybody

Video! American Idol Kris Allen Covers Kanye's "Heartless"

Here is American Idol's Kris Allen covering Kanye West's "Heartless". This cover has been getting a lot of positive responses. I try to stick to the "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" rule, and I don't want to burst anyone's bubble. So... it's raining here. And... I just ate some potato salad.

Video! Eminem Freestyle w/ Tim Westwood

This > Relapse. Just saying. Obviously credit to YN.

Sidenote: Here is what Em recently said about Asher Roth:

I really wanted to check him out because people have been telling me to check him out. And I think the kid is dope. I think he's good and I don't think he sounds like me. It's kinda sad that just because he's white and he raps, then he's automatically gonna get that.

New! Mr. Hudson ft. Kanye West - "Supernova"

New Mr. Hudson and Kanye West courtesy of Tim Westwood. I'll post the untagged when I see it. Thanks to iLLRoots for the heads up. What do you guys think of Mr. Hudson?

For the documentary we've been making for over 6 years on copyright and remix culture: with Lawrence Lessig, Girl Talk, Negativland, Cory Doctorow, Gilberto Gil, The Mouse Liberation Front....and you.

Let me know what you guys think of this, and if anyone is interested. I may be able to get my hands on a couple of free downloads for a few P&P readers.

Today the director Twittered me and said that you can go to http://www.ripremix.com/ and download a copy for your price. So, a contest doesn't really make sense when the prize is something you can get for yourself.

New! Yellow Ostrich - "Time Machines Pt. 1"

I first got into The Chairs because of their awesome covers (Bon Iver's "Flume" and Neutral Milk Hotel's "In An Aeroplane Over The Sea"). Since then, I've heard a few songs by them and never been disappointed. When I got news that the lead singer was putting on his solo boots and taking the bandwagon for a spin, I immediately hopped on, whipped the horses, and rode off into the sunset with him. (?)

If my weirdspeak didn't make things clear, I just mean to relay the news that Alex Ostrich, lead singer of The Chairs, has a solo project called Yellow Ostrich, I just heard the Carousels EP, which is going to be out soon, and I really like it. Alex's voice and style of singing has always been what drew me to The Chairs, so this move appealed to me off the bat. Here is the first, and my favorite song off the Carousels EP. For fans of Death Cab for Cutie, Sufjan Stevens, Vampire Weekend, The Decemberists, and The Chairs.

New! Malik Yusef "V.E.R.S.E." and "The Return" (Snippets)

Most people have heard of Chi-town's Malik Yusef. He's put in work with Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music for the upcoming G.O.O.D. Morning / G.O.O.D. Night which is gonna be out May 26th at iTunes, Best Buy, and 101 Distribution.

What most people have not heard is these exclusive snippets courtesy of my man DP. If you're not already excited to hear this album, check these shits out. First one is from "V.E.R.S.E. (Very Entertaining Recitals Spit Effortlessly)" and features Big Sean. The second one"The Return (Here She Comes Again)" features Mr.Hudson.

New! Rogo's Best of the Day: May 12th Edition

I figured I'd try something like this out. I don't want to try and post everything I can right away to give Confusion the right to firsts on his blog. I figured since he is back now I can take a more laid back approach and come in at the end of the day and give you some things that weren't posted that I thought were post worthy, at least on my end of the rap spectrum. I also missed out on the past couple days on here so I will do a little catchup.

First comes Frank Ramz. So most of you know him already, whether it be Falling Up or his blogging on here or however else. But anyway, Cookin' Soul let out the instrumental of Dopeman and I figured Ramz would destroy it and today comes and well he destroyed it. I liked it so much that I went through the process and made an audio rip of the YouTube video.

Next up is Ghostface Killah, who enlisted the help of the autotune enthusiast and oh yeah ether boy, if we haven't heard that enough, Ron Browz for his newest song. I have to say it is good to hear Ron Browz actually attempt to create lyrics and the song is really up in the air for me.

Now for some older stuff.
Confusion posted up the hilarious picture of Wiz Khalifa, who started off this most probably trend of making songs about the infamous nude celebrities. XV came out next and did a rendition of Cassie's Addicted and made a really good song. After his mix-tape Please, Hold I really got into this guy and he is one of my favorite new unknown artists.

So yeah, I do watch Gossip Girl on occasion but it is mostly because of my girlfriend. The show is interesting at time but it isn't something that I can sit alone and watch, I just cant. It is probably the girls that catch my attention but who knows. Anyway one of the stars of the show, Leighton Meester, whose character is Blair, is supposedly coming out with an electro-pop album sometime this year and teamed up with Cobra Starship for this song Good Girls Go Bad. If you know Cobra Starship and like them then you'd like this song.

I am going to continue this Spongebob Squarepants trend forever, I don't care what anyone says.

Muja Messiah ft. Slug (of Atmosphere) - What's This World Coming To

Earlier today I was craving some Atmosphere/Slug I haven't heard before. Jon Jon, from Sound Verite and the stomping grounds of Slug (Twin Cities) came through in the clutch with this Muja Messiah track ft. Slug. This is like a two-birds-with-one-stone kind of a deal, because I've been meaning to check out more from Muja. The man's name has been popping up on everybody's "artists to watch" lists.

Don't front. Don't wait for the critics to jump on this dude before you start giving it up to dude. Muja is the shit. I'd put him right there with Saigon and Tech in terms of talent on that intelligent hood dude shit. Time will be the teller if he's able to be consistent in the public. But I've known Muja for like 10 years and he's always been fresh. I'd ask him to come on tour with us but I'm scared of his crew. The man is right with his. He's dope live too. - Brother Ali

Video! Kid Cudi - Dose Of Dopeness (live)

Big thanks to my Shoutbox users! Second post of the day that came from heads up from that little chat box that's usually just used for spam. Thanks to Dominus for the heads up about this Cudi song performance. New to me too. It sounds like a crazy track.

Here's the mp3 ripped from the video. Not the best quality, but in case you want to have some future Cudi on the go, here it is thanks to techrapper.

Video! Asher Roth - Boom Boom Pow Remix

Asher and friends remix "Boom Boom Pow". I could be wrong, but this seems like a really pointless move. I know it's just supposed to be for "fun", but to me this was kind of "painful".

D Sharp does Kid Cudi's "Day N Nite"... on a violin... and it sounds awesome. Saw it at DatNewCudi. Thanks to Bluntcity for the heads up.

Mos Def - "Casa Bey" - The Ecstatic - 6.9.09

Here's the video for Mos' newest track off the upcoming The Ecstatic, due in June.

New! Don Diablo & Example - "Hooligans" (7 Mixes)

This "Hooligans" song is nuts. So nuts, in fact, that there are already 7 mixes. Why not?

Don Diablo and Example team up for their joint effort "Hooligans", which is set to become the mosh pit anthem of 2009! On remix duties: Noisia, Spor, A1 Bassline, Doorly and the main man Don Diablo himself. Make sure you grab your copy of "Aerodynamic Hooligans" as well, which is a mash-up Don Diablo did of his Hooligans track with elements of Daft Punk's "Aerodynamic" and yes, you know it will work like a MoFo on the floor! Release date: 29.06 (except Australia / North America / Mexico, release dates tbc). Watch the video here.

Video! Make The Girl Dance Walking Nude In Paris

Video from electro pop duo Make The Girl Dance. This is like that Matt and Kim video, but in Paris instead of New York. You know, walking around naked in public.

Video! Frank Ramz - "DopeRamz"

I love when Frank Ramz cooks up a YouTube video. Shouts to Rogo for the beat suggestion! Check the "Contact" section of this blog for the Ramz email. Send him suggestions so we can get some more of these.

And I know you all have Falling Up by now. If not, you should feel like that kid who just got pantsed in gym class. Ramz has been featured on every site out there from iLLRoots to 2DopeBoyz, and Charles Hamilton recently listed Frank Ramz in his top 10 best up and coming emcees. If that's not a good enough reason to check him out, then just take my word; Ramz makes good music.

New! T-Pain & Nappy Boy Allstars - Every Girl In The World Remix

This is less like a remix and more like a takeover. Remember when T-Pain rode an elephant? That was a good move. If I ever get famous, I'm definitely going to incorporate animals into my entrances to major events. And not in a T-Pain copycat kind of way. That's just something I've always known that I want to do with my life. Thanks to Tha Bizness for the twitter leak (can we call those Tweaks?)

New! Busta Rhymes - "Give 'Em What They Askin For" and "Sugar"

Here's 2 tracks form Busta's upcoming album B.O.M.B. (Back On My Bullshit) out May 19th. Anyone got any thoughts on Busta Rhymes? My best memory of Busta Bus is still my first memory of Busta Bus. Over 10 years ago, seeing the "Woo Hah" video. I still remember standing in front of my TV and watching that video for the first time, thinking "Who is this man?" Check the tracklist for B.O.M.B. below.

New! The Mummers - "Sleepyhead" (Passion Pit Cover)

Not really sure if you'd call this a cover or a remix, or whatever other "words" you guys use these days, but it's The Mummers doing Passion Pit's "Sleepyhead". They add some great orchestration, original female vocals, and give the song a nice, non-invasive personal touch. (That's what she said.) I dig it, but it would be pretty hard to fuck up "Sleepyhead".

Sidenote: I wasn't really sure how much I'd like Passion Pit's album Manners. After giving it a few weeks to sink in, it's become one of my favorites of the year. Buy it May 26th, or the 18th if you're in the UK. Or you could pay someone in the UK to buy it for you on the 18th and have them ship it to you. But then you'd have to wait a few days for it to ship, and you'd have to work out who pays the shipping costs. Usually buyer pays, but that sort of thing is sometimes negotiable if you know how to make good threats.

Video! Lily Allen - "Why"

Here's an It's Not Me, It's You b-side. I don't really have much to say about Lily Allen, except that I've never kept any of her songs on my computer, but I have also never hated any of them. Some people seem to really like her. Any of you in here? What's the allure?

Video! Dan Black - Paris To London (Hear "Symphonies")

I've really become a fan of Dan Black's work. He's got this effortless pop feel combined with really great, sometimes hard, hip hop inspired beats. Here's some info about the above video, plus a few tracks.

Tantalising and stimulating eardrums, Dan Black was a regular feature in the 2009 One To Watch polls. Now the Paris-based Englishman has updated and fleshed out his blogospherically massive Notorious BIG tribute ‘Hypntz’ into the fully fledged space pop anthem ‘Symphonies’. Fusing the ubiquitous beat from Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ with heavily chopped-up samples from the film soundtrack of John Carpenter’s ‘Starman’, this is a perfect, effortlessly joyous marriage of laptop hip hop with tip top hip pop.

Dan’s debut album ((Un)) is out on July 6th and melds the musical attributes of Paul’s Boutique, ‘Hatful Of Hollow’ and ‘Supa Dupa Fly’ with a lost 80’s sci-fi soundtrack and is nothing short of brilliant.

Remixes come from Passion Pit, Rusko, David E Sugar and Hot City.

Rogo's Best Of The Week

This week was full of surprises, I got through Relapse and now am making my way through the new Cam'Ron album and Green Day and so far I've been mixed but leaning towards the good side. On the sort of music front we also have naked pictures of celebrities flying by left and right and it is becoming the new "in" thing to do. While I would love to post some tracks from Eminem on my best of the week I shouldn't because they haven't leaked anywhere else and it is not my place to do so. But you can check back later as I will be reviewing Relapse. Wow almost forgot that The Cool Kids mixtape also dropped this week. Anyway lets get to my best of the week already, right?

Young Jeezy- Dead Or Alive

Rogo: Hope you don't mind if I hijack your post and add a few. I've been feeling like shit all day from this fucking fish sandwich I ate earlier and have been slacking a little on the blogging. I actually completely forgot about the best of the week. Don't feel like making an all new post, so I'm just gonna tack on a few listen-worthy tracks posted during the week.

Sidenote: Any reason for the Spongebob pic?

N.A.S.A. - Gifted ft. Kanye West, Santigold, Lykke Li (Steve Aoki Remix)

Regina Spektor - Laughing With

Burial & Four Tet - Moth

Jump Little Children - Cathedrals

New! Pharcyde, Bjorn and John - "Nothing To Pass By"

New mash up from Mick Boogie. The Pharcyde x Peter, Bjorn & John.

I’ve been doing this mix live in the clubs a lot recently… so I decided to record it real quick for you guys. Not the most technically amazing thing but it’s a nice switch up for the club for audiences who enjoy good music.

New! The Game - Bang Along

New one from Game. He takes a lighthearted look back on his past, and I'm liking this beat. Simple song, good for summer. I read today that he plans on naming his next album The R.E.D. Album. This one is from the DJ Skee and Don Cannon Mixtape Made In America. Check it out.

Video! Justin Timberlake & Andy Samberg - "Motherlover"

Happy Mother's Day.

Cause I'm a mother lover, you're a mother lover, we should fuck eachother's mothers (fuck eachother's moms)

New! Jae Millz - Mother's Day

Jae Millz talks some real ish on an ode to his mother on Mother's Day. Said alot on here that I can relate to.

This one's hard for me cause my mother just got surgery the day before yesterday & is currently in the hospital, which is why I haven't posted much in the past day or so. Today, I'll be by her side. Pray for her ya'll.
This joint really touched me tho. Real smooth, laid back & soulful beat.

Video! Joe Budden Discusses Vibe Rap Bracket!

CJ Milli - "Let The Bodies Hit The Dance Floor" (Van Halen, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Lil Jon Mash Up)

I scheduled this post for 2:00 AM, because (at least for me), that's usually when it's time to make some serious decisions about where your night is going.

You can decide to start winding it down, maybe switch from taking shots to sipping a beer. Maybe start drinking a glass of water if people can't understand you when you try to communicate that you think you may have just pissed and/or jizzed in your pants. Maybe say "just a little" to the next drug offered to you.

Or you can decide to turn the music up a little, stand on the nearest piece of furniture, and take your pants off. Right? Just don't make a confused face while you do it. That makes it less "fun" and more awkward for everyone else in the room. Be confident in your decisions. Taking your pants off at a party is almost always the right thing to do.

Here's a song I just got in my inbox that might help you make the right decision. It's a mash-up of sorts by CJ Milli called "Let The Bodies Hit The Dance Floor" and it contains hints of Van Halen, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, and Lil Jon.
