I got wind of E-603 from The Animal Show. First off, I want to say that I know that every time some skinny jeans wearing hipster comes along and makes mash ups featuring popular songs, Girl Talk comparisons form parades and come marching in. That being said, this sounds exactly like Girl Talk. I love Girl Talk, so that's okay with me. Torn Up, E-603's 2nd album, can be downloaded here. Here's one of E-603's mash ups featuring Modest Mouse's "Float On", Lil Troy's "Wanna Be A Baller", and lots of other songs that you've probably heard hundreds of times in your life. Wale & 9th Wonder - Back To The Feature (Full)
Word of this mixtape has been floating around for so long that I was starting to think it would never actually drop. Brought to you by LRG and mixed by Nick Catchdubs, the shit is finally here in full. Wale's Mixtape About Nothing was one of my favorite mixtapes of last year, so I'm looking forward to giving this a spin. My only complaint is the huge amount of guest features, but with names like Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Joell Ortiz, J Cole, and K'Naan as the guests, that complaint doesn't stand very strong. After I give this a couple listens I'll post a couple of my favorite tracks, so if you aren't trying to download a whole mixtape, hold tight.
